The IceLink 3.2.2.624 release of May 23rd, 2018 fixes a bug in ECDSA key generation that randomly caused connection failures with an error in the logs reporting "DtlsKeyExchangeFailed unsupported_certificate(43)". This problem occurred very occasionally, which made it difficult to reproduce, but we had reports of the issue from several customers and were able to track the error down and fix it.
Release Note:
- Fixed a case where DTLS in .NET and Java (i.e. BouncyCastle) could randomly fail with an invalid certificate error (IL-2303);
If you are using a version of IceLink that generates ECDSA keys (3.2.0.419 onwards) then it is highly recommended that you upgrade to the latest release to avoid having these infrequent connection failures due to bad ECDSA keys.
