Update 2017-10-27: Hot-fixes have been released for IceLink (220.127.116.11) and LiveSwitch (18.104.22.168).
Due to recent changes to the way Firefox is encoding VP8 frames, macroblocking may occur when IceLink or LiveSwitch clients decode the video stream. Below is a screenshot taken from an Android device attempting to render a Firefox stream.
Our QA team has been able to replicate this issue on Java, ObjectiveC, and Swift versions of IceLink connected to FireFox version 56+. The issue does not occur on ever call, but it is much more likely to occur when there is packet loss on call startup. This issue does not impact C#-based platforms (.NET, Xamarin.Android, Xamarin.iOS, etc).
Please feel free to contact email@example.com for more information; otherwise expect a fix to roll out for this shortly.
We'll update this post once the issue is resolved.
